What happens if the race sells out? Can I still get in?
There are several ways that you may still get a spot in the race when it sells out. When someone cancels or changes their race entry, this will free up spots to the race, which will allow someone new to register for the event. Please continue to check the EventBrite registration page up to the race date to see if any spots have opened up. We will also post updates on our Facebook page as we see entries come in.
A waitlist will launch when the entire race has been sold out. The waitlist lets you sign up for a chance to participate in the event and is a handy way to acquire a race entry after the event has sold out. Signing up for a Wait List does not guarantee you will get in the event. The terms for an event’s waitlist will be printed at the bottom of the first screen of EventBrite registration only if an event is filled to capacity. If you sign up on a waitlist, you will be notified if a slot in the race opens up for you. If you do NOT get into an event, you will not receive a refund for the waitlist slot. EventBrite does not offer refunds. Instead, you will receive a Gift Code from the event organizer that can be used to register for the 2017 Biltmore/Kiwanis Race. To sign up for the waitlist please visit our registration page on EventBrite. No transfers or refunds from the waitlist.
We understand that emergencies happen, people get sick and injuries occur. Participants may cancel race entries up to April 1st and receive a 50% credit towards the 2017 Biltmore/Kiwanis race. All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please email us by April 1st, 2016 if you need to cancel.

How can I book a room in one of the race hotels?
We are pleased to announce that we have room blocks set up at the new Village Hotel at Biltmore Estate and at the Inn on Biltmore Estate. There are limited rooms available so we recommend making your reservation early.

Once the room blocks are filled at each property, the rate will increase to the Best Available Rate.

Phone reservations can be made Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Packet pick-up will be from 1-4 pm on Saturday, May 14th at the DoubleTree Hotel in Biltmore Village. Packets not picked up by that time will be available Sunday, May 15th from 5:15 am – 6:00 am at the DoubleTree Hotel. You are strongly encouraged to pick up your packet prior to race morning to avoid delays.
