Join Us for the 2017 Royal Trifecta Challenge

2017 ROYAL TRIFECTA CHALLENGE

With a trinity of exquisite races at the Biltmore Estate on our 2017 calendar, we thought we would take your Biltmore experience one step further by offering yet another test of will! If you can manage to finish all three of our 2016 races at Biltmore, you will be able to lay claim to the prizes that lie in wait for those with the grit to complete our challenge.

To complete THE ROYAL TRIFECTA CHALLENGE, runners must successfully register for AND complete these three of these 2017 Biltmore races:

CAM17231-(ZF-9802-58805-1-018)

The Asheville Marathon OR Half on March 11 + 12th, 2017

The Biltmore/Kiwanis Classic 15k OR 5k race on May 21st, 2017

The Asheville Off Road Series which includes, the Asheville Duathlon, 10k Off-Road Run, OR Gravel Grinder Bike Events on September 10th, 2017

Those who successfully accomplish the task will receive their reward at the close of the events at the Asheville Off Road Series on September 10th, 2017. Finishers will receive a special ‘ROYAL TRIFECTA CHALLENGE MEDAL’ and other royal prizes! If you can “Du the Du” 10k, or grind some gravel, go the distance in the marathon or half, and lay down a classic performance at the Kiwanis race, all that separates you from some sweet prizes are the distances that make up our Biltmore Estate races and the manpower (or womanpower) needed to cover them.

If you are wishing to participate in the 2017 Royal Trifecta challenge you will need to click Register Now! button below and submit the registration form to be considered among the royal reward receivers on September 10, 2017.

**PLEASE NOTE: You must also fill out the individual registrations for each event. Filling out the form below does NOT sign you up for each of these events. These events tend to sell out rather quickly so don’t delay in signing up!**

18 Reasons the Biltmore/Kiwanis 15k/5k Classic is a ‘Must Do’

Vacations are fun. Running races is fun. And the Biltmore/Kiwanis 15k/5k Classic is a ‘Must Do’ Race!

2016BiltmoreKiwanisRaceLogoSQUARENot only do you have two distances to choose from, accommodating all types of runners, you’ll also get to enjoy all the beauty of this destination race at the Biltmore Estate, which gets high marks for scenic beauty. In the 15k, all your hard work will pay off with amazing views of the historic Biltmore House surrounded by the stunning landscape and garden designs of Fredrick Law Olmsted, but you can still enjoy the gorgeous scenery with the less-hardcore 5k. No one says that running through the mountains will be easy, but this race is well worth it, making this a true bucket list race!

HERE ARE SOME OF THE REASONS WHY
OUR 2015 PARTICIPANTS LOVED THIS RACE:

  1. 2014BKC Gals in front of houseIt’s all good! I’m an lifetime Ashevillean and I am always so proud to run this race as it showcases the unique beauty of our city. Gorgeous run!
  2. Loved the warm welcome!
  3. Loved the scenery! The race is absolutely beautiful.
  4. Packet pickup was awesome, so easy and so smooth. Double Tree hotel layout for packet pickup was very easily found and convenient. Great that packet pick up was available on race day.
  5. Shirts are great!
  6. 2015BKCrunnersLove the fast, on-road course; it was excellent. Really liked the fact that the hills were in the first half of the race.
  7. Very challenging course and probably the hardest 15K course I have ever run, and that’s a good thing! I would keep 15K course just as it is.
  8. The volunteers, who put the event together and worked to make it such a great time, were expeditious and great! They were very encouraging to every runner, cheering from the sidelines!
  9. 2015BKCyoungManInTeeGood food, loved the orange slices at the end.
  10. Loved the organized parking process.
  11.  Appreciated the frequent water stations.
  12. The overall organization was terrific. You kids have it together,
  13. I liked the added touch of ringing the bell that I completed a 5K at my fastest pace ever.
  14. LOVE the instant gratification on chip timing.
  15. Loved the names called as we crossed the finish line.
  16. The masters of ceremonies were very good. They both a a good personality and rapport with each other. I would love to see them again.
  17. I love the pottery medals, they were beautiful and unique, a great addition to my collection 🙂
  18. The podium stand was such a fun touch. I loved how every age group used it for pictures, made me feel important and it made all our hard work worth it 🙂
