The 15K begins at the Winery, climbs to Deerpark Restaurant.  Following is an undulating descent and rise along the main road to Biltmore House, where runners will loop in front of the massive main entrance doors. Next, runners will enter the Walled Garden, pass by the Azalea Garden and lagoon along the French Broad River, and then kick to the finish on their return to the Winery. The first half of the course has a challenging duo of hills, while the fast final half covers downhill to flat terrain. The 5K course will be a flat, out and back course starting at the Winery and paralleling the French Broad River where a hard pace can be set from gun to tape.

Biltmore-Kiwanis-Classic-Race-Biltmore-HouseThe race will directly benefit a great local organization dedicated to meeting the needs of our surrounding community. Competing in this event you will be helping fund the efforts of Kiwanis Children’s Charities in their efforts to support local youth programs. Among these, our Asheville Chapter Kiwanis Club provides book bags filled with school supplies each fall to children in need to set them off right for the new school year. Promoting attendance and punctuality in local elementary schools, the club also gives away a bicycle each quarter through a drawing to children with perfect attendance and punctuality.
